If you have come to this page we are aware that you may be in a very hard and confusing place and want to offer you some gentle direction. When death occurs you should contact a funeral director who is ‘on call 24 hours a day’. The funeral director will assist you in making all the necessary arrangements and can arrange a minister on your behalf.
The minister will contact the family to discuss the service and the necessary arrangements for burial or cremation. A death touches and affects both family and friends and a funeral service provides an opportunity to acknowledge that death has occurred, to give thanks for the life of the deceased and to put the death in the wider perspective of eternal life even though this can be a challenging process for some.
