critical.mass meets in term-times. Please see our Facebook Page for Canon Tim’s latest message.

critical.mass includes shared practice, silence and meditation, with soundings and voice from musician, Juan Gabriel Gutiérrez, and inspiration from new artwork by Graeme Evelyn Mortimer.

Canon Tim says: “May you be close to that path of awareness and amazement: open eyes and heart to creation and the life of the One among us. Look forward to re-gathering then.”

Saint Stephen’s spiritual gathering every Thursday looks at themes connecting Biblical wisdom with daily life.

“It’s been a long nine years in the wilderness and I felt that I had come by an oasis tonight,” says a recent participant.

Canon Tim Higgins says: “critical.mass brings together people who itch for the connection between work and spirit, meaning and ‘me’. This new community is a crossroads of energy discovering the ancient ways of wisdom and Christian paths of practice and liberation. Stories of work and relationships, art and creation all provide new opportunities for renewal and transformation reflected in the Gospel.”
