After the success of the Hang In Balance Spring Equinox concert in March (and a packed church with people sitting in the aisle), the organisers have come up with another concert.
A warm and colourful evening of African inspired music and dance featuring traditional African and European instruments.
The evening features Denise Rowe, Bella Lilley and Marie Palmer playing and singing with the beautiful Zimbabwaen M’bira (thumb piano) and Ailsa Hughes on cello.
Omer Makessa, Radek, Amdy Ngom and Michael Stanton playing as Kayali Roots, featuring guitar, bass, percussion, piano and vocals, with a unique world-music blend from Martinique, Senegal and Europe.
And Senegalese Kora player, Moussa Kouyate.
Watch for possible surprise appearances from James Watts on oboe, Chloe Laing with some Gospel Goddess Goodness, and some inspired poets shedding light on the theme of Reconciliation.
£5 donation – no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
8 pm – 11 pm
