Hugo Distler’s Choral-Passion at Saint Stephen’s Bristol

An afternoon a capella concert by a choir that has been singing in the city since 1837.
This is the first performance in Bristol of the Choral-Passion Op 7 by Hugo Distler, a young German composer who killed himself rather than fight for Hitler.
